HARDWOOD REFINISHING / PIEDMONT TRIAD

Keep the wood.
Bring back the finish.

Refinishing and restoration conversations for existing hardwood floors in Greensboro and nearby Triad communities.

THE WORK

Worth a closer look before replacement.

Real hardwood can develop wear, scratches and a tired finish over years of use. Whether refinishing is possible depends on the wood, its condition and what has already been done to it. We can look at the existing floor and discuss refinishing versus installing something new.

COMMON QUESTIONS

A few things
worth knowing.

Can every hardwood floor be refinished?

No. Refinishing depends on the construction of the floor, remaining usable wood and existing damage. Some engineered products have limits on sanding.

Does refinishing make scratches disappear?

Surface wear may improve with refinishing, but deep damage, gaps and staining may require other work. The outcome depends on the condition of the boards.

Can I ask about refinishing and replacement together?

Yes. Tell us about the wood floor, the rooms involved and the result you want. We can discuss which approach is worth considering.
